Foul Away antifouling

Epifanes Foul Away This is a self-polishing antifouling underwater paint based on modified resins. It contains no copper, copper compounds, or tin. Its self-polishing properties keep the underwater hull smooth. It can be applied to aluminum and other metals without risk of galvanic corrosion. It can be applied without problems up to six months before launching. The properties of this underwater paint are not adversely affected if the vessel is out of the water for extended periods. Suitable for wood, steel, aluminum, and polyester with the appropriate primers (see the systems).

Application:
Suitable for freshwater and temporary use in saltwater. A copper-free solution for overcoating existing (copper-containing) self-polishing, chlorinated rubber, and vinyl antifoulings. Soft antifoulings must be removed before applying Epifanes Foul-Away.

Sandable:
Do not sand

Brush processing:
Preferably apply undiluted. Can be diluted with Epifanes Thinner D-100 if necessary.

Drying time:
After 6 hours at 20°C.

Advice:
Launch after a minimum of 18 hours at 18°C ​​and after a maximum of 6 months.

Can be painted over:
After 6 hours at 20°C.

Spreading rate:
10 ^m² /l @ 50 microns
